Manchester United 'have still not met Sporting Lisbon's valuation of Bruno Fernandes after bumping offer up to £46m... but talks are continuing between the two sides'

Manchester United have not yet met Sporting Lisbon's asking price captain Bruno Fernandes, with talks reportedly ongoing between the two clubs. 
According to Sky Sports the clubs were as much as £10million apart in their valuations of the midfielder last week, with United only willing to pay £42m after initially agreeing on a £55m deal.
But United are expected to continue their pursuit of the 25-year-old before the transfer window closes on January 31 and will make an improved £46m offer on Monday.


Burnley join West Ham in enquiring about a Stephen N'Zonzi loan deal, as the Frenchman looks for a way out of indefinite Galatasary suspension.


Burnley have joined West Ham and Rennes by expressing an interest in signing Steven N'Zonzi on loan. 

The Roma midfielder is on loan at Galatasaray, but he is currently serving an indefinite suspension imposed by the Turkish club after a training ground incident.

N'Zonzi will be keen for a move away, then, and could be a quality addition to either side, with the 31-year-old former Stoke and Blackburn midfielder experienced in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace reject PSV bid for Patrick van Aanholt as Premier League club place £9m price tag on left-back.


Crystal Palace have rejected an offer from PSV Eindhoven for left-back Patrick Van Aanholt.
The 29-year-old who has 18 months on contract is valued around £9million. 
The Holland international has made 17 Premier League appearances this season, scoring two goals, but has been out of action since picking up an injury in Palace's draw at Southamton last month.

Chelsea 'will be offered Tottenham target Krzysztof Piatek in striker search if they sell Olivier Giroud to Inter Milan... but they will demand £25m for him'



Chelsea have been offered the chance to snatch a target from under the nose of rivals Tottenham, with Krzysztof Piatek's agents 'offering the AC Milan striker to the Blues'.
Both London outfits are searching for a front-man, with Harry Kane's injury blighting Spurs' progress and Chelsea looking light behind Tammy Abraham as they chase the top four. 
Frank Lampard is set to offload Olivier Giroud this month, with Inter Milan chasing the Frenchman. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, if Giroud moves to link up with Antonio Conte again, Chelsea may bid for Piatek.

Christian Eriksen to have Inter Milan medical on Monday after they agreed to pay £17.5m for midfielder and extra 5% to cover Ajax sell-on clause.



Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen is set have a medical on Monday ahead of completing his move to Inter Milan.
After protracted negotiations, the Serie A side have agreed to pay £17.5million for Eriksen.
In addition, Inter will pay an extra five per cent in order to cover Ajax's sell-on clause.
There have been discussions over a friendly between Tottenham and Inter where the Premier League club would receive all the gate receipts, but such plans have yet to be confirmed.
Eriksen wasn't part of the Tottenham side that drew 1-1 with Southampton in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Inter have already signed two players with Premier League connections during this transfer window, with Ashley Young signing from Manchester United and Victor Moses arriving on loan from Chelsea. 

Eriksen has been heavily linked with Inter throughout this transfer window, with the 27-year-old seeking a fresh challenge away from north London.
Since joining Tottenham in 2013, Eriksen has gone on to make 305 appearances, scoring 69 goals and providing 89 assists.
His outing as a substitute against Norwich earlier this week is set to go down as his last appearance for Tottenham.
