JURGEN KLOPP ISSUES HEARTWARMING RESPONSE AMID CORONAVIRUS FEARS.




Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has urged liverpool fans to put their health first after Coronavirus has led to the shutting down of English football until 3re April, 2020.

The premier and EFL officials met on Friday to discuss about Coronavirus management that has led to all four leagues plus the FA Cup to postpone fixtures for at least 3 weeks.

Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta and Chelsea winger, Callum Hudson-odoi were both tested positive for the virus, while Leicester and Watford players were sent home from training.

Jurgen Klopp then said to Liverpool's official website, "I don't this is a moment where the thoughts of a football manager should be important but I understand that our supporters will want to hear about the team and I'll front that."

"First and foremost, all of us have to do whatever we can to protect one another. In society that is. This should be the case all the time but at this moment, I think it matters more than ever."

"I've said before that football always seems the most important of the least important things, but today football and football matches are not important at all.



"Of course we don't want to play in front of an empty stadium and we don't want games and competitions to be suspended but if doing so will help and individual to stay healthy, we will do it with no questions asked."

"If we had to choose between football and the wider society, it's really no contest at all." 

"Today's decision and announcement is being run by people with a motive of keeping people safe. Because of that, we support it completely. We have seen members of teams we compete against fall I'll." 

"This virus has shown that being involved in football offers no immunity. Our rival clubs and individuals who are affected and to those who will later be, you're in our thoughts and prayers."


"None of us know what the final outcome will be but as a team, we have to believe that the authorities make decisions based of sound judgment and moralities."

Klopp continued, "Yes I am a manager of this club and I carry a leadership responsibility with the regard to our future on the pitch." 

"But I think in the present moment with so many people around our city, the region and the world is facing uncertainty, it would be wrong to speak about anything other than advising people to follow expert and look after themselves." 

Klopp continued and stated, "The message from our team to our supporters is about their well-being. Put your health first and don't take any risks."

"Think about the vulnerability of our society and act where possible with compassion with them." 

"So, please look after yourselves and look out for one another."

Liverpool lead the pack of the premier league table with 25points ahead of second placed Man City but they face an uncertain future without concrete plans in place.
